The excitement of making steel malleable with the help of fire is an ancient fascination that resides within us, as is the rewarding experience of creating a useful tool with our own hands.
I can offer you this experience in my forge in Zirl.
The number of participants is limited to two people.
Course days: Friday/Saturday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
(can be arranged individually for two registrations)
Young people aged 16 and over with parental permission.
Please contact me directly to participate.
Personal protective equipment is provided and meals are also well taken care of.
1,5 day course
In this course, you can forge your own MONOSTEEL cooking or outdoor knife. Perfect for getting started in the world of knife making and learning basic skills. Also available with pre-made Damascus steel as an option for an additional charge.

2 day course / damascus course
Here you will actively participate in the production of the multi-layered damascus blank and gain insights into the ancient art of fire welding. We will then forge your dream knife from this raw material.
