Stefan Krismer

My name is Stefan Krismer and I have been running the Krismer knife forge since 2022. As a trained toolmaker, I have gained experience in a wide variety of areas of craftsmanship throughout my career. For example, I can look back on a past involving custom bike building, sheet metal working, and advanced welding techniques.

However, it is the fascination of metalworking, forging, and the aesthetics of knives that captivated me from an early age.

I always strive to ensure a balance between technical requirements, appearance, and feel, and to achieve constant progress with a restless mind.

A good tool is the sum of many individual steps, which I can devote myself to with the necessary diligence as a manufacturer.
